Shoes: Canvas No. 1 (Great Wave Off Kanagawa)

Kickin it with style!

The Great Wave off Kanagawa is a woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai in the late Edo period. It has became one of the most most iconic work of Japanese art.

We use fabric paint, so that the colour sinks into the canvas (acrylic may work but might crack or peel). A layer of varnish will be applied to protect the shoes. 

Materials:

Plain canvas shoes.

Fabric paint. 

Clear varnish.

Care Instructions:
Wipe clean only. Do not machine wash. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Dry away from direct sunlight.
